our story
ANISENCE was born from a moment of possibility. A quiet spark that began with Rin, our founder, whose lifelong love of fragrance and a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Japan reshaped everything they believed scent could be.
Before ANISENCE existed, Rin spent their days immersed in the world of bespoke perfumery: assisting as a perfume stylist, learning the language of raw materials and later working at the head office of a luxury bespoke fragrance house. There, they discovered the art beneath the surface: how scent holds memory, emotion, narrative and identity.
In July 2023, after returning from Japan, Rin felt a calling they couldn’t ignore. They wanted to create something that captured the quiet beauty, symbolism and storytelling that had moved them so deeply. Many ideas were explored, but it was Rin’s mother, the eye behind every ANISENCE photograph, who gently pointed them toward the concept that had always been closest to their heart: fragrances inspired by the characters who shape us, lifted from the worlds we love.
The path was not effortless. There were failed designs, suppliers that didn’t align, endless reworks and long nights spent perfecting every detail - from the first note of each fragrance to the final form of every bottle. But Rin was never alone. The fragrance house they trained in offered guidance. Their close friends and family stood beside him through every challenge. And slowly, piece by piece, ANISENCE transformed from an idea into a brand with soul, intention and purpose.
Today, ANISENCE stands as a luxury fragrance house shaped by passion, precision and deep respect for storytelling. Every scent is crafted to honour the characters who inspire us - a bridge between perfumery, emotion and the art of anime.

At ANISENCE, we transform beloved anime characters into fragrance. Not through imitation, but through storytelling. To us, a scent is more than aroma; it is emotion, memory, symbolism and the quiet essence of a character captured in wearable form.
Our team combines expertise in both perfumery and anime narrative study, working with a level of care and intention usually reserved for niche luxury fragrance houses. Every creation begins long before any bottle is filled - it begins with understanding.
We immerse ourselves in the world of each character, exploring their history, symbolism, emotional arc and the subtle details that define who they are. Only once we truly understand their story do we begin the perfumery process.
From there, we select each note: top, heart, and base with precision. Every ingredient is chosen for a reason: a citrus that mirrors a moment of clarity, a floral that embodies vulnerability, a resin that echoes strength, a mineral accord that reflects solitude. Each note carries its own weight, its own symbolism, its own emotional temperature.
Layer by layer, these notes become a portrait. A fragrance crafted not just to smell beautiful, but to feel like the character. A scent that resonates with their journey, their complexity and the quiet truths hidden beneath their surface.

Wakubii is the bright face of ANISENCE: a storyteller, content creator and a voice actor in our story TikTok animations. Her energy, creativity and love for anime help shape the emotional world behind our fragrances.
Inuzunaa brings artistic vision to life through illustration and animation. Every drawing, every visual moment and every piece of character-inspired art is crafted with his signature style, giving ANISENCE its distinctive identity and emotional depth.
Shirudaa adds humour, charm and personality to ANISENCE through content creation, voice acting and streaming. His presence infuses the brand with warmth and relatability, helping our community feel welcomed, entertained and seen.
