Like a grin right before the trick. Blood orange zest and candied clementine peel burst open sweet and loud, with pink pepper as the wink that says something’s about to happen. The heart takes aim: saffron, neroli blossom and amber resin over a dartboard lens accord and soft blonde woods, playful but precise.
Underneath, warm amber, vanilla pod, skin musk and tonka bean melt into something surprisingly cosy. Like Charles himself, it’s fun first, and then you realise how deadly accurate it was all along.

What does Charles smell like?
Think sweet candied orange with a little peppery kick. It opens juicy and fun, turns warm and golden, then dries down to a cosy vanilla that smells almost good enough to eat.

Which size should I choose?
New to the scent? Start with the 2ml patch test. The 5ml travel spray comes with a drawstring bag and an artwork card, and the 50ml, where available, is the best value per ml.
How long does it last?
It’s an Eau de Parfum that lasts around 6-8 hours on skin, with moderate projection, and its sillage (the trail it leaves behind) is moderate. Skin type, climate and the number of sprays all play a part, and it lasts even longer on clothes.
How should I wear it?
Spray, aim, and have fun with it.
- IHit the pulse points. Wrists, neck and behind the ears. Warm skin carries the scent, so spray and don’t rub.
- IIMist for a softer trail. A light spray on clothes or hair leaves a subtler trail that lingers.
